Sañjaya dit : «Après avoir fait placer par le cocher sur le char tous les équipements nécessaires, puis avoir disposé pour moi une place convenable sur la plate-forme, près de l’étendard, …»
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined preparedness and proper arrangement before undertaking a grave task. In a war narrative, it underscores that action should be preceded by orderly provisioning and assigning roles—an ethical reminder that responsibility includes careful preparation, not mere impulse.
Sañjaya narrates logistical readiness: the charioteer loads the chariot with all required gear and then arranges a seat/position for Sañjaya on the chariot-platform near the banner. It sets the scene for onward movement and eyewitness reporting within the battlefield context.
