धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection
इमे ते भ्रातर: सर्वे दीना भरतसत्तम । त्वयि शोकसमादविष्टे नृपाश्व सुह्दस्तव,“भरतश्रेष्ठ! तुम्हारे शोकाकुल हो जानेसे ये तुम्हारे सभी भाई, नरेशगण तथा सुहृद् दीन हो रहे हैं
sañjaya uvāca |
ime te bhrātaraḥ sarve dīnā bharatasattama |
tvayi śokasamāviṣṭe nṛpāś ca suhṛdas tava ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ô le meilleur des Bharata, lorsque le chagrin te saisit, tous tes frères, les rois et tes bienveillants se trouvent accablés. Ta douleur se répand dans le cercle des parents et des alliés, affaiblissant leur résolution et alourdissant la cause commune.»
