Abhimanyu’s Prowess and the Duḥśāsana Engagement
लघुहस्त: प्रचिच्छेद ददृशे तं न कश्नन । स पपात क्षितौ क्षीण: प्रविद्धाभरणाम्बर:
laghuhastaḥ praciccheda dadṛśe taṃ na kaścana | sa papāta kṣitau kṣīṇaḥ praviddhābharaṇāmbaraḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : D’une main prompte, il l’abattit ; nul ne put même le distinguer nettement. Épuisé, il s’effondra sur la terre, ses parures et ses vêtements rejetés au loin—image de ce qu’en la fureur du combat, prouesse et vie peuvent s’achever en un instant.
