Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 37: Sañjaya’s Account of Abhimanyu’s Precision Disruption of a Chariot Contingent
सतुतान् प्रतिविव्याध त्रिभिस्त्रिभिरजिद्ागै: । नृत्यन्निव महाराज चापहस्त: प्रतापवान्,महाराज! उस समय धनुष हाथमें लिये प्रतापी अभिमन्युने जैसे नाच रहा हो, इस प्रकार सब ओर घूम-घूमकर उन सब महारथियोंको तीन-तीन बाणोंसे घायल कर दिया
sūtān prativivyādha tribhis tribhir ajidāgaiḥ | nṛtyann iva mahārāja cāpahastaḥ pratāpavān ||
Sañjaya dit : Ô roi, le vaillant guerrier, l’arc à la main, tourna de tous côtés comme s’il dansait, et les frappa chacun de trois flèches—promptes et infaillibles—au cœur de la mêlée.
