द्रोणानीकाभिमुखगमनम्
Abhimanyu advances toward Droṇa’s host
संजय उवाच तस्य तद् वचन श्रुत्वा स यन्तारमचोदयत् । सुमित्रा श्वान् रणे क्षिप्रं द्रोणानीकाय चोदय,संजय कहते हैं--राजन्! महाराज युधिष्ठिरका यह वचन सुनकर अभिमन्युने अपने सारथिको यह आज्ञा दी--'सुमित्र! तुम शीघ्र ही घोड़ोंको रणक्षेत्रमें द्रोणाचार्यकी सेनाकी ओर हाँक ले चलो
sañjaya uvāca | tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā sa yantāram acodayat | sumitrāśvān raṇe kṣipraṁ droṇānīkāya codaya ||
Sañjaya dit : Ayant entendu ces paroles, il pressa aussitôt son cocher. «Sumitra, lance vite les chevaux au cœur de la bataille—droit vers l’armée de Droṇa !» Cet instant souligne la résolution du guerrier : agir sans délai après le conseil, même si la voie mène au plus redoutable du camp adverse.
