The verse highlights how inner resolve and righteous confidence manifest outwardly as signs that affect collective morale. In epic ethics, courage grounded in dharma can unsettle adharma-driven forces even before weapons strike.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Kaurava forces will be gripped by fear upon hearing the formidable sounds associated with the Pāṇḍava side, foreshadowing psychological advantage at the outset of combat.
