तथा तित्तिरिकल्माषा हया वातसमा जवे | अवहंस्तुमुले युद्धे सहदेवमुदायुधम्,इस प्रकार अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंसे सम्पन्न सहदेवको तीतरके समान चितकबरे रंगवाले तथा वायुके समान वेगशाली घोड़े उस भयंकर युद्धमें ले गये
sañjaya uvāca | tathā tittirikalmāṣā hayā vātasamā jave | avahaṃs tumule yuddhe sahadevam udāyudham ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors ces chevaux, tachetés comme des perdrix et rapides comme le vent, portèrent Sahadeva — armé et prêt — à travers le tumulte de cette bataille effroyable.
