रथचिह्नवर्णनम् / Description of Chariot Standards and Allied Advances
कर्ण उवाच नैष जातु महाबाहुर्जीवन्नाहवमुत्सूजेत् । न चेमान् पुरुषव्यात्र सिंहनादान् सहिष्यति,कर्ण बोला--राजन्! यह महाबाहु भीमसेन जीतेजी कभी युद्ध नहीं छोड़ सकता है। पुरुषसिंह! तुम्हारे सैनिक जो ये सिंहनाद कर रहे हैं, इन्हें भीमसेन कभी नहीं सहेगा
karṇa uvāca naiṣa jātu mahābāhur jīvan nāhavam utsṛjet | na cemān puruṣavyāghra siṃhanādān sahiṣyati ||
Karna dit : «Ô roi, Bhīmasena aux bras puissants n’abandonnera jamais le combat tant qu’il vivra. Et toi, tigre parmi les hommes, ces rugissements de lion que poussent tes guerriers, Bhīmasena ne les supportera pas.»
