द्रोणविक्रमदर्शनम् / The Display of Droṇa’s Onslaught and the Debate on Pāṇḍava Regrouping

ततः सत्यजितं ती&णैर्दशभिर्मर्म भेदिभि: । अविध्यच्छीघ्रमाचार्यश्छित्त्वास्य सशरं धनु:,तदनन्तर आचार्यने सत्यजितके बाणसहित धनुषको काटकर मर्मस्थलको विदीर्ण करनेवाले दस पैने बाणोंद्वारा उसे शीघ्र ही घायल कर दिया

tataḥ satyajitaṁ tīrṇair daśabhir marma-bhedibhiḥ | avidhyac chīghram ācāryaś chittvāsya saśaraṁ dhanuḥ ||

Sañjaya dit : Alors le précepteur Droṇa, après avoir d’abord tranché l’arc de Satyajit avec la flèche déjà posée, le perça promptement de dix traits acérés qui frappèrent les points vitaux.
