ततश्नकृषतुर्भीम॑ सर्वशस्त्रायुधानि च । नारायणास्त्रशान्त्यर्थ नरनारायणौ बलात्‌

Transliteration

tataḥ śanakṛturbhīma sarvaśastrāyudhāni ca | nārāyaṇāstraśāntyarthaṁ naranārāyaṇau balāt ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : «Puis, avec une retenue délibérée, Bhīma mit de côté toutes ses armes et ses engins de guerre. Afin d’apaiser le Nārāyaṇāstra, les deux sages jumeaux, Nara et Nārāyaṇa, par une puissance irrésistible, en obtinrent l’extinction.»
