प्राशाम्यत रजो भौम॑ शीघ्रत्वादनिलस्यथ च । उस समय तेज हवा चलनेसे कुछ धूल तो ऊपर उड़ गयी और कुछ योद्धाओंके रक्तसे सिंचकर नीचे बैठ गयी। इससे भूतलकी वह सारी धूलराशि शान्त हो गयी
praśāmyata rajo bhaumaṁ śīghratvād anilasya atha ca |
Sañjaya dit : La poussière soulevée de la terre retomba et s’apaisa, rabattue par l’élan rapide du vent. Une part fut projetée en l’air un bref instant, et une autre, trempée du sang des guerriers, se redéposa sur le sol. Ainsi le lourd nuage de poussière au-dessus du champ de bataille se fit silencieux.
