ते वध्यमाना भीमेन राक्षसा: क्रूरबुद्धय: । विनेदुस्तुमुलान्नादान दुद्रुवुस्ते दिशो दश,भीमसेनके बाणोंकी चोट खाकर वे क्रूरबुद्धि राक्षस भयंकर चीत्कार करने और दसों दिशाओंमें भागने लगे
te vadhyamānā bhīmena rākṣasāḥ krūrabuddhayaḥ | vinedus tumulān nādān dudruvus te diśo daśa ||
Sañjaya dit : «Frappés par Bhīma, ces rākṣasas au dessein cruel poussèrent des clameurs terribles et retentissantes, puis s’enfuirent, pris de panique, vers les dix directions. La brutalité s’effondre lorsqu’elle se heurte à une force résolue.»
