tataḥ karṇo 'bhyayād enam asyann asyantam antikāt
Sañjaya dit : Alors Karṇa se précipita sur lui, lançant des armes à bout portant contre celui qui, lui aussi, projetait des traits, poussant l’affrontement à une proximité immédiate et meurtrière.
संजय उवाच
