दृष्टवा च समरे द्रोणं निघ्नन्तं पाण्डवीं चमूम्
dṛṣṭvā ca samare droṇaṃ nighnantaṃ pāṇḍavīṃ camūm
Sañjaya dit : Voyant Droṇa sur le champ de bataille, abattant l’armée des Pāṇḍava, on saisit l’élan sinistre de la guerre : la maîtrise des armes peut submerger des multitudes, et le poids moral de la violence s’alourdit lorsqu’un maître vénéré devient l’instrument d’une destruction de masse.
