आददेअन्यद् धनु: शूरो वेगवत् सारवत्तरम् । तब क्षत्रियमर्दन शूरवीर द्रोणाचार्यने उस धनुषको भूमिपर रखकर दूसरा अत्यन्त प्रबल और वेगशाली धनुष हाथमें लिया
sañjaya uvāca | ādade 'nyad dhanuḥ śūro vegavat sāravattaram |
Sañjaya dit : Le héros saisit un autre arc, plus puissant, plus rapide et mieux adapté au combat. Délaissant l’arme précédente, il choisit un moyen plus fort pour poursuivre la lutte, révélant l’escalade implacable propre à la guerre dite juste lorsque le devoir est arrêté et que l’affrontement devient sans compromis.
