Sañjaya dit : Ô roi, ils encerclèrent Sātyaki de toutes parts avec des chars bien équipés, ornés d’or et d’argent, ainsi qu’avec cavalerie et éléphants.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how, in war, power is often applied through coordinated encirclement and overwhelming force; ethically, it points to the harsh reality that a warrior must maintain steadiness and resolve when isolated, continuing to act according to kṣatriya-dharma amid danger.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that opposing forces have closed in around Sātyaki from all directions using richly equipped chariots along with cavalry and elephants, indicating a tactical attempt to trap and neutralize him.
