बभूव तत्र सैन्यानां शब्द: सुविपुलो निशि । उस रात्रिके समय दौड़ते, भागते और पुनः लौटते हुए सैनिकोंका महान् कोलाहल सुनायी पड़ता था
babhūva tatra sainyānāṃ śabdaḥ suvipulo niśi |
Sañjaya dit : En ce lieu, durant la nuit, un tumulte immense s’éleva parmi les armées — un vacarme accablant de soldats courant, fuyant, puis revenant encore. La scène fait sentir le désarroi moral qui accompagne la guerre nocturne : peur, confusion et effondrement de la discipline au cœur de la violence.
