अमोघशक्तिव्यंसनप्रश्नः — Why Karṇa’s Śakti Was Not Used on Arjuna

जयरातरथं प्राप्य मुहु: सिंह इवानदत्‌ । बलवान पाण्डुपुत्रके मुक्केकी चोट लगते ही वह धराशायी हो गया। महाराज! ध्रुवको मारकर महाबली भीमसेन जयरातके रथपर जा पहुँचे और बारंबार सिंहनाद करने लगे

jayarātarathaṁ prāpya muhuḥ siṁha ivānadat | balavān pāṇḍuputrakaḥ ||

Sañjaya dit : Parvenu au char de Jayarāta, le puissant fils de Pāṇḍu rugit à maintes reprises tel un lion. Dans le flot du combat, après avoir abattu Dhruva, Bhīmasena s’élança jusqu’au point le plus avancé de l’ennemi, proclamant une détermination sans peur et la volonté intacte des Pāṇḍava au cœur des exigences de la guerre selon le dharma.
