Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma

The verse highlights shared agency: extraordinary achievement in dharmic struggle arises from the union of human effort (Arjuna’s action) and higher guidance (Kṛṣṇa’s बुद्धि/strategy and शक्ति). It ethically reframes success as grounded in right counsel and alignment with a greater order, not mere egoic prowess.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, praising Arjuna’s accomplishment as superhuman in scale, while explicitly attributing its possibility to Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa). The statement functions as a narrative emphasis that Kṛṣṇa’s presence and guidance decisively empower the Pāṇḍava side.
