Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Sañjaya Dialogue: Description of the Night Engagement of Karṇa and Ghaṭotkaca

Victory and rightful sovereignty are portrayed as naturally following where Kṛṣṇa’s protection and grace operate; the verse frames success not merely as human strategy but as alignment with divine support and dharmic legitimacy.
Sañjaya praises Kṛṣṇa, declaring that the Pāṇḍavas’ victory is unsurprising because Kṛṣṇa is their protector, and he foretells Yudhiṣṭhira’s attainment of universal kingship, attributing the outcome to Kṛṣṇa’s power and blessing.
