Śalya–Bhīma Gadāyuddham (मद्रराज-भीमसेन गदायुद्धम्)
बाह्[माभ्यन्तरं चैव चरन्तौ मार्गमुत्तमम् । ददृशाते महात्मानौ सपक्षाविव पर्वताौ,वे दोनों महामनस्वी वीर बाहर और भीतर चोट करनेके उत्तम पैंतरे बदलते हुए पंखयुक्त दो पर्वतोंके समान दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे थे
bāhyābhyantaraṃ caiva carantau mārgam uttamam | dadṛśāte mahātmānau sapakṣāv iva parvatau ||
Sañjaya dit : On vit les deux héros magnanimes évoluer selon les plus nobles modes du combat—frappant du dehors et du dedans—et ils semblaient deux montagnes pourvues d’ailes. La scène montre comment, dans la fureur de la guerre, la prouesse et la technique disciplinée peuvent donner aux guerriers une allure presque élémentaire, alors même que le conflit continue d’exiger son tribut moral.
