Śalya–Bhīma Gadāyuddham (मद्रराज-भीमसेन गदायुद्धम्)
ततो<भ्ययात् सत्वरितो युद्धाकाड्क्षी महाबल: । तेन चक्रे महद् युद्धमभिमन्युररिंदम:,तब शत्रुओंका दमन और युद्धकी अभिलाषा करनेवाले महाबली अभिमन्यु भी तुरंत सामने आया और उनके साथ महान् युद्ध करने लगा
tato 'bhyayāt satvarito yuddhākāṅkṣī mahābalaḥ | tena cakre mahad yuddham abhimanyur arindamaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors Abhimanyu—puissant de force, avide de combat et dompteur d’ennemis—s’avança promptement. Les rencontrant, il engagea une grande bataille, porté par la résolution du guerrier : faire face à l’agression et maintenir le devoir de son camp dans la guerre.
