Rātri-yuddhe Droṇasya prahāraḥ — Bhīmasenasya dhārtarāṣṭra-śūrānām nigrahaḥ

त॑ दृष्टवा पुरुषव्याप्रश्लुक़्ोश महतो रवान् प्रावृट्कले महाराज नर्दन्निव बलाहक:,महाराज! उन्हें देखते ही पुरुषसिंह भीमने वर्षाकालमें गरजते हुए मेघके समान बड़े जोरसे सिंहनाद किया
tān dṛṣṭvā puruṣavyāghro bhīmo mahato ravān | prāvṛṭkāle mahārāja nardann iva balāhakaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Les voyant, Bhīma — tigre parmi les hommes — poussa, ô Roi, un rugissement formidable, tel un nuage d’orage grondant en saison des pluies. Ce cri signale sa résolution intrépide, rallie les siens et jette l’effroi dans le camp adverse au cœur de la tension morale du champ de bataille.
