आज्ञापय कुरुश्रेष्ठ मा च शोके मन: कृथा: । “मानद! इस संसारमें ऐसा कोई कार्य नहीं है, जो मेरे लिये असाध्य हो अथवा जिसे मैं आपकी आज्ञा मिलनेपर न करूँ। कुरुश्रेष्ठ। आज्ञा दीजिये। अपने मनको शोकमें न डालिये'
ājñāpaya kuruśreṣṭha mā ca śoke manaḥ kṛthāḥ |
Sañjaya dit : «Commande-moi, ô le meilleur des Kuru ; ne laisse pas ton esprit sombrer dans le chagrin. En ce monde, il n’est aucune tâche qui me soit impossible, et rien que je ne fasse dès lors que j’ai reçu ton ordre.»
