Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle
वर्तमाने तथा रीद्रे संग्रामे लोमहर्षणे । संक्षये जगतस्तीव्रे युगान्त इव भारत,भरतनन्दन! वह रोमांचकारी भयंकर संग्राम प्रलयकालमें होनेवाले जगत्के भीषण संहार-सा उपस्थित हुआ था
vartamāne tathā raudre saṅgrāme lomaharṣaṇe | saṅkṣaye jagatas tīvre yugānta iva bhārata ||
Sañjaya dit : Tandis que cette bataille farouche, qui faisait se hérisser les cheveux, continuait de faire rage, la destruction effroyable y paraissait telle la fin même du monde, ô Bhārata—comme une dissolution cataclysmique submergeant tous les êtres.
