Droṇa’s Rebuke to Duryodhana after Jayadratha’s Fall (द्रोणेन दुर्योधनं प्रति प्रत्युक्तिः)
क्षोभयध्वं महावेगा: पवन: सागरं यथा । (इसके बाद उन्होंने फिर कहा--) 'सात्यकि और अर्जुनके न होनेपर ये कौरव तो कृतार्थ हो जायँगे और हम पराजित होंगे। अत: तुम सब लोग एक साथ मिलकर महान् वेगका आश्रय ले तुरंत ही इस सैन्य-समुद्रमें हलचल मचा दो। ठीक वैसे ही जैसे प्रचण्ड वायु महासागरको विकज्षुब्ध कर देती है”
kṣobhayadhvaṃ mahāvegāḥ pavanaḥ sāgaraṃ yathā |
Sañjaya dit : «Soulevez le tumulte (dans l’armée ennemie), ô hommes d’une grande vitesse, comme un vent puissant bouleverse l’océan.» Puis il ajouta : «Si Sātyaki et Arjuna ne sont pas là, les Kaurava se croiront comblés et nous serons vaincus. Aussi, unissez-vous tous d’un même élan, appuyez-vous sur une grande rapidité, et, sans délai, mettez en branle ce “mer de soldats”, comme un vent furieux soulève le vaste océan.»
