धृतराष्ट्र-संजय-संवादः — सात्यकि-अलम्बुसयोर्युद्धवर्णनम्

न चचाल तदा राजन् सात्यकि: सत्यविक्रम: । राजेन्द्र यही अवसर पाकर सात्यकि वहाँसे आगे निकल गये। तब कृतवमनि भीमसेनपर धावा किया। कृतवर्माकी सेनासे निकलकर युयुधान तुरंत ही काम्बोजोंकी विशाल वाहिनीके पास आ पहुँचे। वहाँ बहुत-से शूरवीर महारथियोंने उन्हें आगे बढ़नेसे रोक दिया। महाराज! तो भी उस समय सत्यपराक्रमी सात्यकि विचलित नहीं हुए ।| ६०-६१ ह || संधाय च चमूं द्रोणो भोजे भारं निवेश्य च

na cacāla tadā rājan sātyakiḥ satyavikramaḥ |
Sañjaya dit : Ô roi, en cet instant Sātyaki—dont la vaillance était vraie et inébranlable—ne chancela point. Même au cœur de la mêlée et malgré ceux qui tentaient d’arrêter sa marche, il demeura ferme dans son dessein et son courage, incarnant la résolution du guerrier qui accomplit son dharma sans céder à la peur ni au trouble.
