विनाशमुपयास्यन्ति मच्छरौघनिपीडिता: । 'दूसरोंके बलपर जीनेवाले दुर्योधनने इन सब लोगोंका सदा आदसरपूर्वक भरण-पोषण किया है; परंतु ये मेरे बाणसमूहोंसे पीड़ित होकर आज विनष्ट हो जायँगे
vināśam upayāsyanti maccharaugha-nipīḍitāḥ | dūṣaroke balapara jīnevāle duryodhanane in sab logoṅkā sadā ādara-sapūrvaka bharaṇa-poṣaṇa kiyā hai; parantu ye mere bāṇa-samūhoṅse pīḍita hokara āja vinaṣṭa ho jāyaṅge |
Sañjaya dit : «Écrasés sous la pression de mes volées de flèches, ils iront à leur perte. Duryodhana—qui vit de la force d’autrui—a longtemps entretenu tous ces hommes avec des honneurs de façade et du soutien ; mais aujourd’hui, tourmentés par mes salves, ils seront anéantis.»
