कृतज्ञतां दयां चैव भ्रातुस्त्वमनुचिन्तय । “आपके भाई अर्जुनमें जो दैवीशक्ति, अस्त्रविद्याकी निपुणता, योग, युद्धस्थलमें अमर्ष, कृतज्ञता और दया आदि सदगुण हैं उनका आप बारंबार चिन्तन कीजिये
kṛtajñatāṁ dayāṁ caiva bhrātus tvam anucintaya |
Sañjaya dit : «Médite encore et encore sur les vertus de ton frère — sa gratitude et sa compassion.»
संजय उवाच
Even in a violent conflict, one should keep ethical virtues in view—especially gratitude and compassion—recognizing that moral excellence is integral to true heroism and right conduct (dharma).
