Droṇa-parva 112: Karṇa–Bhīma Engagement and Duryodhana’s Protective Order
पश्य शैनेय सैन्यानि द्रवमाणानि संयुगे । महान्तं च रणे शब्द दीर्यमाणां च भारतीम्,शैनेय! वह देखो, उधर युद्धस्थलमें सेनाएँ भाग रही हैं। रणक्षेत्रमें महान् कोलाहल हो रहा है और मोरचेबंदी करके खड़ी हुई कौरवी सेनामें दरारें पड़ रही हैं
paśya śaineya sainyāni dravamāṇāni saṃyuge | mahāntaṃ ca raṇe śabdaṃ dīryamāṇāṃ ca bhāratīm ||
Yudhiṣṭhira dit : «Regarde, ô Śaineya—vois comme les armées fuient au cœur du combat. Un fracas immense s’élève sur tout le champ, et l’ost des Bhārata est en train d’être déchirée : son dispositif se fend, se brise et se disloque sous la pression de la guerre.»
