Chapter 111
मर्त्यधर्ममनुप्राप्त: कर्तव्यं नानवपद्यत | विजयसे उल्लसित होनेवाले पाण्डवोंद्वारा समरभूमिमें विद्ध होकर मर्त्यधर्मको प्राप्त हुए अलम्बुषसे कुछ भी करते न बना
martyadharmam anuprāptaḥ kartavyaṃ nānavapadyata | vijayase ullasita-honevāle pāṇḍavon-dvārā samarabhūmau viddhaḥ martyadharmaṃ prāptaḥ alambuṣaḥ kimbhid api kartuṃ na babhūva ||
Sañjaya dit : «Tombé sous la loi des mortels, Alambuṣa ne put plus accomplir ce qu’il devait. Frappé sur le champ de bataille par les Pāṇḍava, ivres de victoire, il rencontra le sort des hommes et demeura incapable d’agir davantage.»
