Educational Q&A

Even the mightiest and most revered can fall when the moral order is strained by war; the epic highlights how dharma becomes difficult to discern, and how victory can demand choices that leave the world morally shaken.

The narrator marks the deaths of Bhīṣma and Droṇa as astonishing, world-upending events—signaling a turning point in the war where the collapse of legendary protectors changes the balance and deepens the sense of collective bewilderment.
