भीमकर्णसमागमः | Bhīma–Karṇa Encounter
ऐश्वर्यमदसम्मूढो नैष दुःखमुपेयिवान् । नच ते संयुगे वीर्य जानाति पुरुषर्षभ,पुरुषरत्न! ऐश्वर्यके घमंडमें चूर रहनेवाले इस दुर्योधनने कभी कष्ट नहीं उठाया है। यह युद्धमें तुम्हारे बल-पराक्रमको नहीं जानता है
aiśvaryamadasammūḍho naiṣa duḥkham upeyivān | na ca te saṁyuge vīryaṁ jānāti puruṣarṣabha ||
Aveuglé par l’ivresse du pouvoir et de la prospérité, cet homme n’a jamais connu la vraie épreuve. Et il ne comprend pas ta puissance au combat, ô taureau parmi les hommes : il n’a pas mesuré la force et l’héroïsme que tu portes sur le champ de bataille.
