द्रोणेन केकय-चेदि-वीरवधः

रथस्थितोडग्रत: क्रोशं यानस्यत्यर्जुन: शरान् । रथे क्रोशमतिक्रान्ते तस्य ते घ्नन्ति शात्रवान्,रथपर बैठे हुए अर्जुन अपने आगे एक कोसकी दूरीतक जिन बाणोंको फेंकते थे, वे बाण उनके शत्रुओंका जबतक संहार करते, तबतक उनका रथ एक कोस और आगे निकल जाता था
rathasthito 'grataḥ krośaṃ yānasya tyarjunaḥ śarān | rathe krośam atikrānte tasya te ghnanti śātravān ||
Sañjaya dit : Assis sur son char, Arjuna décochait des flèches droit devant à la distance d’un krośa. Et lorsque son char avait encore avancé d’un autre krośa, ces mêmes flèches abattaient toujours ses ennemis—montrant l’élan inexorable de sa prouesse guerrière tandis que la bataille se ruait en avant.
