Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds
लोकानां गुरुरत्यर्थ लोकनाथ: सनातन: । नारायणो रणे नाथो दिव्यो दिव्यात्मक: प्रभु:,भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण सम्पूर्ण जगत्के परम गुरु हैं, समस्त लोकोंके सनातन स्वामी हैं, संग्रामभूमिमें सबकी रक्षा करनेवाले दिव्य स्वरूप, सामर्थ्यशाली, दिव्य नारायण हैं
lokānāṃ gurur atyarthaṃ lokanāthaḥ sanātanaḥ | nārāyaṇo raṇe nātho divyo divyātmakaḥ prabhuḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Śrī Kṛṣṇa—Bhagavān Nārāyaṇa—est véritablement le maître suprême de tous les êtres, le Seigneur éternel de tous les mondes. Sur le champ de bataille, il se tient comme protecteur et refuge de tous : puissance souveraine, divine et d’essence divine.»
