एते चान्ये जनपदा: प्राच्योदीच्यास्तथैव च । उद्देशमात्रेण मया देशा: संकीर्तिता विभो,राजन! ये तथा और भी पूर्व और उत्तर दिशाके जनपद एवं देश मैंने संक्षेपसे बताये हैं
ete cānye janapadāḥ prācyodīcyās tathaiva ca | uddeśamātreṇa mayā deśāḥ saṅkīrtitā vibho, rājan |
Sañjaya dit : «Et ces autres royaumes aussi — ceux des contrées de l’Orient et du Nord — je ne les ai évoqués que brièvement, à titre d’indication, ô roi puissant. Ainsi n’ai-je fait que les énumérer en sommaire.»
