यथागुणबल चापि त्रिवर्गस्य महाफलम् । दुह्त धेनु: कामधुग् भूमि: सम्यगनुछिता,अपने गुण और बलके अनुसार यदि अच्छी तरह इस भूमिका पालन किया जाय तो यह कामनाओंकी पूर्ति करनेवाली कामधेनु बनकर धर्म, अर्थ और काम तीनोंके महान् फलकी प्राप्ति कराती है
yathā-guṇa-balaṃ cāpi trivargasya mahā-phalam | duhā dhenuḥ kāmadhug bhūmiḥ samyag-anuṣṭhitā |
Sañjaya dit : «Lorsque ce devoir est accompli comme il se doit, selon les qualités et la force de chacun, le sol même de la condition légitime devient tel une vache exauçant les vœux, Kāmadhenu, accordant les grands fruits des trois buts de la vie : dharma, artha et kāma.»
