Vāsudeva-Māhātmya: Duryodhana’s Inquiry and Bhīṣma’s Theological Account of Keśava
तद् गोकुलमिवोदशभ्रान्तमुद्भ्रान्तरथयूथपम्
tad gokulam ivodaśa-bhrāntam ud-bhrānta-ratha-yūthapam | uvāca pārtha bībhatsuṁ nigṛhya ratham uttamam ||
Sañjaya dit : L’armée du fils de Pāṇḍu apparaissait en plein tumulte, errant comme un troupeau de bétail et poussant des cris de détresse. Bien des chefs d’escadrons de chars tournaient aussi en tous sens, déconcertés, ne sachant que faire. Voyant une telle déroute dans ses propres rangs, Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa, joie de la lignée des Yadu, retint et arrêta son excellent char, puis s’adressa à Arjuna, fils de Kuntī—Bībhatsu, l’inébranlable.
