कर्मयोग–ज्ञानयज्ञ–अवतारोपदेश

Karma-Yoga, Jñāna-Yajña, and Avatāra Instruction

भीष्मपर्वणि तु पञ्चविंशो5ध्याय:ः

avyakto ’yam acintyo ’yam avikāryo ’yam ucyate | tasmād evaṁ viditvainaṁ nānuśocitum arhasi ||

Sañjaya dit : «Ce Soi est dit non manifesté, hors de portée de la pensée, et incapable de changement. Ainsi, le connaissant de cette manière, tu ne dois pas t’affliger pour lui.» Dans le cadre éthique du champ de bataille, l’enseignement détourne Arjuna d’une peine née de la perte du corps vers une fermeté fondée sur la nature impérissable du Soi, l’exhortant à la clarté du devoir sans effondrement intérieur.
