तस्मिन्नतिमहाभीमे सेनयोर्व पराक्रमे । सम्प्रधावत्स्वनीकेषु मेदिनी समकम्पत
tasminn atimahābhīme senayor vai parākrame | sampradhāvatsv anīkeṣu medinī samakampata ||
Sañjaya dit : Lorsque les deux armées, dans cet affrontement de prouesse d’une effroyable intensité, se ruèrent et s’agitèrent au sein de leurs propres divisions, la terre elle-même—cette vaste étendue qui porte tous les êtres—se mit à trembler.
