भीमसेनस्य बहुमहारथसंयुगः

निशम्य सर्वभूतानि समकम्पन्त भारत | अमोघा हापतन् बाणा: पितुस्ते भरतर्षभ
sañjaya uvāca |
niśamya sarvabhūtāni samakampanta bhārata |
amoghāḥ pāpatan bāṇāḥ pitus te bharatarṣabha ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ô Bhārata, à l’entendre toutes les créatures tremblaient. Ô taureau parmi les Bharata, les flèches décochées par ton aïeul ne tombaient jamais en vain.»
