भीष्म-पर्व अध्याय १०० — त्रिगर्त-आक्रमण, भीष्म-केन्द्रित पुनर्संयोजन, तथा शक्त्यस्त्र-विनिमय
भ्रातरश्न महेष्वासास्त्रिदशा इव वासवम् | भीष्मके शिविरकी ओर जाते हुए पुरुषश्रेष्ठ दुर्योधनके पीछे सारे जगत्के महाधनुर्धर कौरवपक्षीय नरेश तथा विशाल धनुष धारण करनेवाले उसके भाई उसी प्रकार जा रहे थे
bhrātaraś ca mahēṣvāsās tridāśā iva vāsavam |
Karna dit : «Et ses frères — puissants archers —, avec les grands archers du camp des Kaurava, suivirent le plus éminent des hommes, Duryodhana, tandis qu’il se rendait vers le camp de Bhīṣma, comme les dieux suivent Indra.»
