Book 14, Chapter 89
पूजयित्वा महाराज यथाविधि महाद्युति: । भ्रातृभि: सहितो राजा प्रास्थापयदरिंदम:,महाराज! इसके बाद महात्मा भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण, महाबली बलदेव तथा प्रद्युम्म आदि अन्यान्य सहस्रों वृष्णिवीरोंकी विधिवत् पूजा करके भाइयोंसहित शत्रुदमन महातेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिरने उन सबको विदा किया
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
pūjayitvā mahārāja yathāvidhi mahādyutiḥ |
bhrātṛbhiḥ sahito rājā prāsthāpayad arindamaḥ ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : «Ô roi, après les avoir honorés selon le rite, le souverain rayonnant —accompagné de ses frères— les congédia solennellement et les fit partir.» Dans sa tonalité morale, le vers souligne le dharma royal : hospitalité juste, révérence envers les hôtes dignes et congé donné avec ordre après un accueil empreint de vénération.
