बभ्रुवाहन-धनंजययोः संग्रामः
Babhruvāhana and Dhanaṃjaya’s engagement at Maṇipūra
याचते त्वां महाबाहो शमं गच्छ धनंजय । “शत्रुदमन महाबाहु धनंजय! यह तुम्हारे चरणोंमें सिर रखकर तुम्हें प्रसन्न करके तुमसे शान्तिके लिये याचना करता है। अब तुम शान्त हो जाओ
yācate tvāṃ mahābāho śamaṃ gaccha dhanaṃjaya |
Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : «Ô Dhanañjaya aux bras puissants, dompteur des ennemis, il te supplie : apaise-toi, entre dans la paix.» La tête à tes pieds, il cherche à te fléchir et implore la réconciliation ; que la colère s’éteigne.
