Parīkṣit-janma-saṃkaṭa and Kuntī’s petition to Vāsudeva (परिक्षिज्जन्मसंकटं कुन्त्याः प्रार्थना च)

कृत्वा पूजां तु रुद्रस्य गणानां चैव सर्वश:

kṛtvā pūjāṃ tu rudrasya gaṇānāṃ caiva sarvaśaḥ

Vaiśampāyana dit : Après avoir accompli comme il se doit le culte de Rudra, il rendit aussi hommage, de toutes les manières, à toutes les troupes qui l’accompagnent, honorant la suite divine comme partie intégrante de la juste dévotion et de la bonne conduite rituelle.
