Abhimanyunidhana-prakāśaḥ — Vasudeva–Kṛṣṇa–Subhadrā–Kuntī śoka-saṃvāda

विगाहा सलिल त्वाशु वाग्बाणैर्भुशविक्षत: । उत्थाय स गदापाणिरयुद्धाय समुपस्थित:
vigāhya salilaṃ tv āśu vāgbāṇair bhṛśa-vikṣataḥ | utthāya sa gadāpāṇir ayuddhāya samupasthitaḥ ||
Bien que grièvement blessé par les paroles de Bhīmasena, acérées comme des flèches, Duryodhana jaillit aussitôt hors de l’eau ; puis, se dressant sur-le-champ, la massue en main, il s’avança vers les Pāṇḍavas, prêt au combat.
