Mind as Charioteer; Kṣetrajña, Tapas, and Dhyāna-Yoga
Adhyātma-Upadeśa
एवं कर्म कृतं चित्र विषयस्थं पृथक् पृथक् । यथा कर्म कृतं लोके तथैतानुपपद्यते
evaṁ karma kṛtaṁ citraṁ viṣaya-sthaṁ pṛthak pṛthak | yathā karma kṛtaṁ loke tathaitān upapadyate ||
Ainsi, les actions—diverses par leur nature—portent leurs fruits dans des domaines distincts et correspondants. De même qu’on ne peut se mouvoir sur la terre en montant dans une barque, ni voyager sur l’eau en montant dans un char, de même les actes variés mènent à des destinations différentes. En ce monde, telle action qu’un homme accomplit, telle conséquence de même espèce s’abat sur lui.
