यथाध्वानमपाथेय: प्रपन्नो मनुज: क्वचित् । क्लेशेन याति महता विनश्येदन्तरापि च
yathādhvānam apātheyaḥ prapanno manuṣaḥ kvacit | kleśena yāti mahatā vinaśyed antarāpi ca ||
Vāyu dit : «De même qu’un homme qui part en voyage sans provisions pour la route n’avance qu’au prix de grandes peines — et peut même périr en chemin —, ainsi celui qui entreprend la marche de la vie sans les ressources intérieures nécessaires (juste conduite, maîtrise de soi et préparation) s’expose à la souffrance et à la ruine.»
