Brahmā’s Instruction on Elements and Faculties
एकधा बहुधा चैव विकुर्वाणस्ततस्तत:
ekadhā bahudhā caiva vikurvāṇas tatas tataḥ
Vāyu dit : «Tantôt un, tantôt multiple, j’assume des formes diverses et je me manifeste de bien des manières, encore et encore, selon l’occasion.»
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights a divine capacity to appear as a single unified power or as multiple differentiated expressions, suggesting that one underlying force can operate through many forms depending on need and context.
Vāyu is speaking about his own mode of action—how he can manifest in diverse ways—framing his presence as adaptable and repeatedly operative across different situations.
