अण्डजा जन्तवश्वैव सर्वे चापि चतुष्पदा: । उन्मत्ता बधिरा मूका ये चान्ये पापरोगिण:
aṇḍajā jantavaś caiva sarve cāpi catuṣpadāḥ | unmattā badhirā mūkā ye cānye pāparogiṇaḥ ||
Vāyu dit : «Tous les êtres nés d’œufs, et aussi tous les quadrupèdes—les fous, les sourds, les muets, et d’autres encore frappés de maladies graves.»
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse broadens moral attention to include all categories of living beings—especially those marked by disability, mental disturbance, or disease—implying that dharma involves compassion and protection that does not exclude the weak or suffering.
